Pain Targeting Massage
Pain Targeting massage, aims to relax the muscles attributed to the areas of discomfort. The treatment uses different techniques to release chronic pain and stress areas due to tightness, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries.
Due to the nature of the work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. I never want to make you hurt. Keep in mind that soreness is common after the treatment.
Relaxation Massage
Relaxation Massage is a very calming style of bodywork. Relaxation massage aims to reduce stress, allow for "you" time and allow you to just drift away. The pressure can be light or firmer directed by your preference and can be changed at any moment.
No talking is necessary as no muscles are targeted and the only thing needing to be addressed is you need to take a break and focus on you.
Prenatal Massage
Prenatal Massage is designed especially for expectant mothers. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques designed for the mother, receiving a massage during this amazing time helps release pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight, postural imbalance, improved breathing, and relaxation.
Enhancements
Foot Scrub: Hot towels, aromatic scrub and lotion with a little extra attention to your feet.
Hot stones: Can increase circulation, promote release of muscle tension, promotes a deeper sense of relaxation. Can not be added to pre-natal massage sessions.
Cupping: Can increase circulation, promote a release of muscle tension, helps to activate your body's immune system and removal of toxins from the body.
Cold Stone Face Massage: A wonderful mix between hot towels and cold stones applied to the face. Can increase circulation, invigorate the face, wonderful for TMJ and Migraines.
CBD: Locally made CBD salve, applied to a problem area. Used to calm and relax muscles for hours after the massage treatment.
Kinesio Tex Tape: Can encourage lymph flow reducing edema and swelling; facilitates and supports movement of the body and joints.
Aroma Therapy: Mixed with the massage medium and applied to the skin.
